Cumbria recruitment firm changes name to reinforce hospitality services

paul murphyKNIGHT Benton Recruitment has changed its name to Recruit Hospitality to reinforce the specialist services it provides to Cumbria hotels, restaurants and caterers.

The company which was established at Cleator Moor, near Whitehaven, in July 2016 by Paul Murphy, has recently secured the support of a major recruitment services company to fund expansion of its temporary staffing division.

“Things have gone really well in our first year,” said Murphy (pictured).

“We launched our business into one of the toughest specialist recruitment sectors in one of the most geographically challenging areas of the country and we’re winning.

“Recruit Hospitality provides employers and candidates with a local offering from a company that better understands the market.”

He added that Brexit and the weak pound were compounding an historic lack of skills in the hospitality sector especially in the Lake District and Recruit Hospitality was using its extensive network of national contracts to attract people to live and work in the county.
