He has more than 16 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, having started his career at the age of 18 and quickly rising through the ranks to his first management role when he was just 20.
Keating (pictured) was promoted to the role after working at The Davenport Arms as the deputy manager since its opening in February.
“Pesto at The Davenport Arms has had a successful first six months and I’m very much looking forward to using my passion and experience to ensure the business continues to grow for many years to come,” he said.
“It’s a stunning building which is steeped in history and I’m looking forward to being part of this new chapter.”
The Cheshire-based Pesto group which now has 10 sites across the North West specialises in reopening pubs and introducing an affordable food offering based on piattini, Italian small plates.
