Lytham St Annes next in line for a Miller & Carter

harvesterTHE Fylde is getting its second Miller & Carter steakhouse with the announcement that The Queensway pub in Lytham St Annes will close as a Harvester and reopen in June under the new brand.

A spokesman for Mitchells & Butlers said the majority of the jobs would be preserved. “The majority of the current team will continue to work at the business following the conversion,” he said.

“We constantly review our estate and from time to time make the decision to convert a restaurant into one of our other successful brands.”

The Queensway, previously a Beefeater restaurant and which accommodates more than 200 diners, was the area’s first Harvester when it re-opened after refurbishment in November 2006.

Last autumn, Mitchells & Butlers opened the first Miller & Carter site in the area at the former High Cross Harvester in Poulton-le-Fylde.
